EHSD Public Information Sharing Tools

At the Contra Costa County Employment & Human Services Department (EHSD), we believe in the power of data to paint a picture of the community we serve and to tell the story of how we support it. This section contains two complementary public-facing data products: the EHSD Geographic Information System (GIS) Benefits Program Map and the next generation Interactive EHSD Program Dashboard. Also contained here are the legacy/historical EHSD Program Data Dashboards for 2016 through 2023.

These tools show the number of individuals and families the department serves through our various programs every month and are updated regularly. They are based on figures EHSD reports to the state each month.

GIS Benefits Program Map

The EHSD GIS Benefits Program Map is a new mapping tool that provides enhanced insights into the community we serve by showing enrollment in our key benefit programs by location.  There are two versions of the dashboard: count by number of Individuals, and count by number of Households.
The Interactive EHSD Program Dashboard is a new visualization tool that was developed on a leading-edge platform that creates easy-to-understand visualizations of enrollment in our key benefit programs.
